As summer continues, and re-openings progress, Huron Perth Public Health (HPPH) asks residents of Huron and Perth to keep making decisions that will protect themselves, their loved ones and their community.

Huron Perth Public Health recently received a $3,375 donation from the United Way Perth Huron. The donation will help local Perth families, connected to the Health Unit through the Healthy Babies Healthy Children program, purchase food and other essential baby items.

Effective Friday, July 17, 2020, all owners/operators of indoor commercial and indoor public spaces must have policies in place requiring the use of face coverings in their establishments.

Dr. Miriam Klassen, Medical Officer of Health, has released formal Instructions to employers in Huron and Perth counties regarding the use of face coverings in indoor commercial and public space.
The Instructions, along with FAQs, are available at www.hpph.ca/masks. Huron Perth Public Health is providing support (such as sample policy, posters, discussion guide and more) to owner/operators of commercial and public spaces to implement these instructions.

Dr. Miriam Klassen, Medical Officer of Health for Huron and Perth counties, will issue formal instructions to employers to require the use of face coverings in all commercial establishments, effective Friday, July 17.
